Visited KLNP today accompanied by my wife. We were given an overview by Sh. Anurag Baspie, PCF, and Sh. Amit Kaler, Director, KLNP. Local anecdotes and local knowledge were shared by Sh. Sriman Oinam Ratan Kumar, Tourist Guide. It is the unique habitat of the Sangai deer, on floating habitat (phumdi). Lots of efforts have been made by the Forest Department to revive the habitat and conserve the endangered Sangai deer. It was a very fruitful visit. All the best to the whole team.
